Our story

Aristoteles said that “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” A true statement for the founding and evolution of Edsvärd. The story of the company started in 2018 when a infrastructure specialist, a VR-entrepreneur and a brain scientist met at a train depot in Stockholm, Sweden. They were working on creating an advanced digital twin. To make a long story short, they were all interested in digitalization, data collection and decarbonization related to infrastructure. One thing led to another and Edsvärd assumed its current form in 2023. Since then, Edsvärd has been an AI Saas-company that offers three interwoven AI fueled solutions for built environments. Our three C:s – coordination, classification, and collection are powered by WatsonX.  

Coordination – Samporten is a digitized coordination tool for infrastructure owners that allows different stakeholders to understand what, where and when things are happening. In addition, Charlie, is a personal health and safety AI assistant that converts documentation to information combined with visual planning to boost health and safety compliance at construction sites.  

Classification – Forklift is an AI powered Saas solution that classifies built related documents to the common construction industry information system CoClass. The digitalization of technical documents allows infrastructure owners to optimize management, maintenance, and sustainability.  

Collection – Envizi by IBM is a digital sustainability platform that automize sustainability data collection. Through our AI solutions we leverage the power of data analytics to help companies reach lofty sustainability goals.
